Since these are handcrafted, we strictly advise against boiling those pieces. The glue and bonding material used during manufacturing can be weakened or dissolved!
There is no need to boil these pieces. They are perfectly safe to introduce to your tank. Boiling is often used to allow a quicker soaking of wood, helping them to sink. In a case of the Bonsai Driftwood, it's a better choice to just weight the piece down for a while until it is fully soaked in your tank.
Bonsai Driftwood is only leaking a small amount of tannins, so this is not something to worry about.
